October 25, 2010 @ 4:17pm
(visit #5)

weather: fair, cloudy
temperature:67 degrees F
winds:5 mph
length of day: 10.37 hours

After the previous nights rain the water was super high again. The field was swamped, and it was hard to find places to walk. The trees in the woods were bare this week. Its amazing how one week the trees can be so full of color, and the next to bare and dead looking. It was fun to listen to the dead leaves crunch beneath my feet. I found a big fuzzy caterpillar in the woods today(: It was a lot of fun to play with. I also saw a bird off in a distance. it was pretty big, but I'm not sure what kind it was. Also, there were clowns. Who woulda known. They were spying on me. It was kinda creepy, but no worries they were just young boys. What can you do with them?!?! haha

October 11, 2010 @ 4:15pm
(visit #4)

weather: sunny
temperature: 78 degrees F
winds: 8 mph winds
length of day: 12.12 hours

Another amazingly warm day for October. I'm loving the sun. Today when I went to my plot of land it was really flooded. More flooded than it has ever been, which is weird because we haven't had heavy rain lately. Today I heard it frog, but couldn't find it :( I saw a few fish in the pond and thought that was cool. They were about the length of my hand. I also saw that water bug again, and am really curious as to what it is.
You can tell that it is October when your in the woods. There are shades of red, yellow and orange everywhere. Walking through the woods I could hear the dead leaves below my feet.

September 30,2010 @ 4:20pm
(visit #3)

weather: cloudy, not alot of sun
temperature: 65 degrees F
winds: 8.1 mph winds
length of day: 11.47 hours

Today when I went to my plot of land I noticed that the water levels from the last storm had down a little bit, but it was still pretty flooded. Our walk way/bridge was completely emerged in water. I had to get my feet wet again. Standing out there I heard birds and rustling in the woods. Im assuming it was some kind of rodent, or cat. There are a few stray cats that walk around this area.
